LITTLE STARS. Located: penn hill, poole
We offer a warm, secure yet stimulating environment for your little ones. Promoting physical skills, social skills and sensory experiences, inspiring independence, confidence and high self – esteem.
3 – 18 Months
Our little Twinkles are ideally situated on our spacious first floor, where we have a peaceful sleeping room and two light, bright playrooms.
18 – 26 Months
In the months they spend in Little Comets, children are encouraged to become much more mobile, their speech develops significantly, and they start to play with one another.
26 – 36 Months
At this stage, your child is starting to become more self-sufficient, they are talking, playing with their friends, toilet training, running, exploring, and learning to test boundaries.
36 – 60 Months
Our pre-school, the ‘Rockets’ are split into two groups – ‘Little Rockets’ are the children who have newly turned three and the ‘Big Rockets’ who are starting their journey to ‘big school’!
At Little Stars we provide the highest quality, early years care and education for every child.
Working with an individual Key Person system to support you and your child, all of our staff are happy to share your child’s progress and day to day activities with you.

Little Stars Day Nursery is open Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year, closing on Public holidays and for one week between Christmas and New Year.
All children are entitled to 15 hours per week of funded childcare the term after they turn 3 years old. This is called ‘Universal’ funding.
“Sending your child to nursery can be incredibly daunting but Little Stars made it feel easy. From the very first settling in session, I, and more importantly my daughter felt comforted by the friendly staff, calm setting and plenty of fun toys to play with.”
“I have always found the staff very caring and supportive. When my son was 2 and in Little Comets, my husband was in Afghan for over 6 months, his key workers got him to make his Father’s day card a few weeks early, so that we had plenty of time to send it to him.”
Mummy of Felix & Chloe
“Thank you so much for everything you do to make nursery such a lovely and fun place to be. I love Little Stars and I am very sad about leaving and going to big school. Thanks for always answering Mummy’s questions”
